AWP | Fade (Minimal Wear) is a minimalist grail that turns the game’s most feared rifle into a rolling gradient. Released in December 2020 as part of The Control Collection for Operation Broken Fang, it applies the classic Fade treatment to the AWP’s slab sides. This sniper has been finished in an Anodized Airbrushed style, with a glassy color wash that moves from warm gold and amber through hot pink into deep violet and indigo. The barrel, bipod, and scope remain dark, letting the candy-coat body do all the talking. Pattern index matters—coverage and color balance can shift from piece to piece—making high-percentage “full fades” especially prized. Being in Minimal Wear condition, the skin retains most of its original beauty with only the slightest, barely noticeable wear.
